Browncroft Day Care has been providing the very best care for children since our inception in 1966. Our goal is to provide an exceptional program treating each child as an individual and enriching each child's experience to foster the optimum growth on a social, academic and emotional level. We strive to have each child gain skills in self-help and self-discipline methods. Our program is based on developmentally appropriate practices and enriched with daily music and movement and sign language programs.
We have over four acres of outdoor land which enables the children to have the opportunity for outdoor adventures. Each age group (infants, under 3 years old, 3-5 years, and school age) has their own fenced in area. Our large indoor gymnasium offers large motor opportunities.
The Center is conveniently located 3/4 mile west of the Browncroft Exit, Route 590. The center is in the North Winton Village and the beautiful, historic Browncroft neighborhood and borders the town of Irondequoit. It is central to the downtown Rochester area as well as the suburbs. (Click here for a Map and directions.)
All employees are carefully screened and participate in training sessions on child development, discipline and health and safety, etc. Infant and child CPR and first aid courses are conducted by the American Heart Association for our staff.
